The Sri Lanka Air Force announced that a PT 6 aircraft used for training pilots of the No. 01 Flying Training Wing located at the Air Force China bay College has met with an accident.
Today (07) at around 11.27 am, the plane crashed in China bay camp area, and the two officers who were traveling in the accident lost their lives.
The Sri Lanka Air Force also announced that a special investigation committee has been appointed by Air Force Commander Air Marshal Udeni Rajapakse to investigate the accident.
