Secretary of the Ministry of Ports and Aviation Services K. D. Mr. S. Ruwanchandra mentioned that the discussions held yesterday (05) were successful.
Accordingly, an agreement will be entered into with that company in the future.
Under this, all the operations of the Mattala Airport will be carried out by the relevant company.
The secretary said that the company also plans to pay the salaries of the airport staff employed there.
He mentioned that the government will get a part of the income.
