The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that a nine-hour water cut will be in effect in several areas surrounding Colombo on Saturday (06), due to essential maintenance work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the following areas:
Colombo 01 to Colombo 15
Battaramulla, Pelawatta, Hokandara, Koswatta, Thalawathugoda, Kotte, Rajagiriya, Mirihana, Madiwela, Nugegoda, Nawala, and Kolonnawa.
In addition, water supply will also be suspended in IDH, Kotikawatta, Angoda, Wellampitiya, Orugodawatte, Mulleriyawa, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Dehiwala, Ratmalana, and Moratuwa.
