Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said in Parliament today that he has received copies of 34 petitions submitted to the Supreme Court regarding the Security of Online Systems (Regulation of Social Media) Bill. Sri Lanka Latest News
He also mentioned that these petitions have been submitted in terms of 121(1) of the Constitution.
The speaker said this while issuing announcements at the beginning of the proceedings of the House.
