A serious head-on collision between a private bus and a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus occurred near the Hettiarachchi bend in the Beliatta Police Division this morning (29).
According to police sources, approximately 30 individuals sustained injuries in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Tangalle Hospital and Beliatta Hathbodhiya Hospital for treatment.
The Beliatta Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which took place earlier today.
