3 bills amending the election laws will be presented to Parliament tomorrow! Only a government with a mandate can do that! They are trying to postpone the elections again! G.L.! VIDEO I Sri Lanka Latest News

Prof. G.L.Pieris said that the government is ready to submit 3 bills to the parliament on Friday to change the election laws, and the government is preparing to launch a cunning strategy to postpone the elections. Sri Lanka Latest News

He mentioned this while attending a news conference of the Free People’s Assembly.

Prof. G. L Pieris also said.

⛔The budget documents are going to be presented to the parliament next Monday. If the government acts to impose unlimited taxes to cover the budget deficit, it will be opposed.

⛔ Opposes the sale of ancient resources such as Nuwara Eliya Post Office.

⛔ The Supreme Court has submitted 31 amendments to the Online Security Act to the Speaker.

⛔ The quality of law has decreased by making ordinances without following the normal system.

⛔ The Constituent Assembly has rejected the last two cases of extending the service period of the Police Commissioner.

⛔ The President has continued to trash the recommendations of the Legislative Assembly and has once again given a service extension to the Inspector General of Police.

⛔ The President’s arbitrary appointments are illegal. If you do that, the Constituent Assembly is of no use.

⛔ Parliament is going to present three bills to amend the election laws on Friday this week.

⛔ If the electoral laws are to be amended, it should be done by a government with a mandate.

⛔ The government is not revising the election laws in good faith. It is a trick to postpone elections.

⛔Unable to pay the electricity bill, nearly 8 lakh families have been cut off.

⛔ All the essential services of the current government have collapsed. Education and health take a prominent place among them.

⛔ Can’t see the growth of the Sri Lankan economy. There is a contraction.

⛔ Nearly 120,00 people have lost their jobs in the industrial sector.

⛔ There are already a handful of cases of the cricket problem that has arisen today.
