Fuel distribution has been halted for 12 gas stations that did not use the QR code system.
The decision was made during a progress review meeting with the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation’s trading division, according to a statement from the Ministry of Power and Energy.
As a result, it was decided to temporarily halt fuel distribution to 12 filling stations that had contributed the least to the QR system.
According to the Ministry, public complaints filed against filling stations will be forwarded to the appropriate police stations, and appropriate action will be taken.
