The Attorney General is set to indict 12 former armed forces personnel at the Colombo High Court next week in connection with the abduction and torture of journalist Keith Noyahr.
The indictments come 17 years after Mr. Noyahr was abducted near his residence in Dehiwala and subjected to torture in May 2008.
The accused face a total of 30 charges, including attempted murder, conspiracy to abduct, assault, and causing injuries.
