A 100-member delegation from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Thiruvananthapuram, India, led by Swami Jagat Sakshi Das, arrived in Sri Lanka to visit sites associated with the Ramayana epic.

The group, which landed at the Katunayake Airport, aims to explore locations believed to hold historical significance within the Ramayana narrative.

Swami Jagat Sakshi Das stated, “We have come from Kerala with a delegation of 100 devotees to visit the places related to the Ramayana. Sri Lanka is deeply connected to the epic, and we are here to see the places mentioned in the story, particularly those related to the arrival of Prince Rama and the four-month stay of Sita Devi in Sri Lanka.”

This visit coincides with the World Peace Conference, attended by Swami Kailashanand Giri ji and other dignitaries.

The ISKCON delegation plans to visit various sites associated with the Ramayana during their stay.
