Serendib Flour Mills, Sri Lanka’s leader in wheat flour manufacturing, participated in the globally renowned Gulfood 2025 exhibition in Dubai, the world’s largest annual food and hospitality showcase, accompanied by their valued customers.

A delegation from Serendib Flour Mills, along with key clientele, attended this year’s event, the 30th edition, which served as a display of global culinary innovation and a strategic platform for building valuable industry connections.

The participation was enhanced through the company’s strategic relationship with Al Ghurair, its parent company in Dubai UAE, which maintains a strong presence across the Gulf region’s food and beverage sector as a regular participant at the exhibition. Serendib Flour Mills also guided their guests to the Al Ghurair stall whose offerings were featured.

As part of the visit, Serendib Flour Mills’ customers toured Al Ghurair’s state-of-the-art production facilities in Jebel Ali, including their advanced wheat flour mill, soybean processing plant, oats production, feed mill, and pasta manufacturing facility.

The tour demonstrated the company’s commitment to maintaining world-class hygiene standards and included visits to their impressive storage silos at Jebel Ali Port.

The comprehensive visit enabled Serendib Flour Mills’ customers to experience firsthand the scale and sophistication of the parent company’s operations. From the exhibition to the facility tours, it was an opportunity to understand the complete value chain of Serendib Flour Mills’ products.

Staying true to the mission of ‘Nourishing the Nation’, Serendib Mills utilized this global platform to explore the latest developments in food technology, emerging sustainability trends, and strengthen relationships within the international food industry.

The company continued the tradition of facilitating exclusive opportunities for key customers to gain insights and establish global connections at Gulfood 2025, reinforcing a commitment to supporting stakeholder growth and development.

To round off the experience, delegates also enjoyed a traditional desert safari, combining business with cultural experiences of the region.

Gulfood 2025, as the 30th edition, held from February 17-21, has maintained its position as one of the world’s largest annual food and hospitality trade fair and premier B2B platform. The event brought together suppliers, buyers, and manufacturers from over 129 countries, facilitating new partnerships and featuring the latest F&B innovations.

This year’s exhibition featured more than 5,500 exhibitors across multiple country pavilions. Gulfood 2025 offered attendees a rich experience with exhibitor showcases, networking opportunities, educational sessions, innovation awards, culinary demonstrations by top chefs, guided discovery tours, a platform for young professionals through YouthX, and social gatherings titled Gulfood by Night, all designed to help participants stay ahead in the competitive food and beverage market.
