Serendib Flour Mills (SFML) under its renowned 7 Star brand, proudly participated in the Profood Propack & AgBiz 2024 exhibition, held from August 23-25 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition and Convention Centre, Colombo.
As a leading player in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, the event provided SFML a platform to engage with consumers and partners. During the exhibition, SFML demonstrated its industry leadership, featuring the company’s premium wheat flour range.
Reinforcing its commitment to customer satisfaction and market presence, specifically among retail consumers (B2C), SFML highlighted the superior standards and versatility of its products, showcasing how they meet the diverse needs of households and foodservice businesses.
To engage visitors at the event and offer a firsthand experience of its products, SFML conducted a range of activities. Visitors were treated to a variety of products made with 7 Star wheat flour, providing the opportunity to taste the difference in quality and texture.
Renowned Chef Dushanthi Madanayake led interactive live baking and cooking sessions. She used 7 Star wheat flour to craft short recipes and interact with the audience. These sessions provided valuable insights into the versatility and superiority of the company’s products.
SMFL’s technical and sales teams were also on-site during the exhibition to offer solutions, including technical insights, troubleshooting and recipe ideas. Visitors received guidance on how to access SFML products across various regions.
Organized by the Sri Lanka Food Processors Association (SLFPA) in collaboration with Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (LECS), the event showcased key players in the food and beverage industry who exhibited the latest innovations and trends in food products and packaging.
