Nestlé Professional Sri Lanka recently partnered with the Chefs Guild of Lanka to power International Chefs Day celebrations. Held at Waters Edge, the event witnessed a participation of 500 Executive Chefs, Executive Sous Chefs, and Executive Pastry Chefs, bringing together exemplary culinary talent from 154 hotels across the country.
The event provided Nestlé Professional with an opportunity to reward and recognize Sri Lanka’s culinary expertise and reinforce its long-standing partnership with the Chefs Guild of Lanka. In recognition of Nestlé’s significant contributions to the country’s culinary sector over the years, Nestlé Lanka’s Managing Director, Mr. Bernie Stefan, was presented a Lifetime Honorary Membership by the Chefs Guild of Lanka.
Furthermore, during the event, Nestlé Professional also launched the ‘Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat competition 2025 – an island wide culinary competition conducted in collaboration with the Chefs Guild of Lanka and the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association. This competition aims to develop and recognize up-and-coming culinary talent in the hospitality industry.
