The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka successfully conducted a workshop on ‘21 powerful Japanese methods to create organization excellence’ on 22nd August 2024 at the National Chamber Auditorium.
Mr. Sunil G Wijesinha, the resource person of the workshop (Director of BizEx Consulting (Pvt) Ltd.) has been a proponent of Productivity Improvement Techniques, Employee Involvement Techniques, Business Excellence and Japanese Management Techniques for many years. A past president of JASTECA, he has been recognized with the APO Regional Award and Japan’s “Order of the Rising Sun” for his contributions to promoting Japanese management techniques in Sri Lanka.
Key learnings of the workshop provided knowledge about the powerful 21 Japanese methods and practices that are useful to be implemented and maintained in the organisations, which can eventually enhance organization performance and gain competitive advantage. The session was conducted in an interactive and practical approach while discussing the real-life scenarios and how these work methods can be adapted. The participants viewed the program as a timely and effective session that the learnings can be applied in both the personal life and professional career.
