GAIA Greenenergy Holdings is pleased to announce that it received multiple honours at the 2025 Sri Lanka Clean Energy Week Awards. Organized by Solar Quarter- South Asia, the prestigious event celebrates leadership, innovation, and progress in the renewable energy sector.

GAIA was recognized across five categories, including Company of the Year, Rooftop & Distributed Solar for Business Excellence, Sustainability Excellence in Integrating HSE with Renewable Projects for Sustainability Leadership, Service Excellence in Safe Solar Operations for Service Excellence, Excellence in Research & Development Leadership awarded to Chathura Vidana Gamage, Chief Technical Officer, for Grand Masters (Individual Leadership), and WENERGY recognition awarded to Udani Jayasinghe, Manager -Business Development, for Women in Energy.

Lalinda Kalubowila, Chief Executive Officer of GAIA Greenenergy Holdings, said:

“We are deeply honoured to receive these recognitions at Sri Lanka Clean Energy Week 2025. Each award is a reflection of the passion, dedication, and values of our people, from delivering safe and sustainable energy solutions to fostering innovation, operational excellence, and inclusive leadership. At GAIA, every milestone strengthens our commitment to building an energy-independent Sri Lanka.”

GAIA Greenenergy Holdings is driving Sri Lanka’s transition to energy independence through rooftop and distributed solar. As the principal developer of the nation’s largest 350 MW rooftop solar programme across seven provinces, GAIA delivers long-term value and measurable environmental impact. With 77.6 MW already installed, the company has achieved significant carbon reductions, equivalent to planting 3.5 million trees annually, while strengthening grid resilience and reducing fossil fuel reliance.

The Sri Lanka Clean Energy Week Awards, now in its third edition, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to celebrate excellence in renewable energy. The event provided an ideal platform to recognize GAIA’s ongoing contributions to building a cleaner, more resilient, and sustainable energy future for Sri Lanka.
