Flexiprint Crowned with Silver at CNCI Achiever 2025

Flexiprint (Pvt) Ltd – the market leader in manufacturing and marketing of teabags and tags including pyramid tea bags for one of the most flamboyant and demanding industries in the world, was crowned with the prestigious Silver award for the Extra-Large Category – National Level Manufacturing Sector at the Achiever’s Awards Ceremony 2025 organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industries. The CNCI Achiever awards recognize industrial excellence of local manufacturers, and are evaluated in the areas of quality standards, productivity, corporate plan, research & development, employee benefits, labor relations, and social and environmental governance (ESG) while encouraging these industries to reach further heights. The Awards ceremony was held at the Cinnamon Life, Colombo, on 23rd of October 2025. Flexiprint was also recognized amongst the Top 10 Awardees in the Extra-Large Manufacturing sector of the country.

“We are honored to receive these prestigious CNCI Achievers awards in recognition of our commitment to take local manufacturing to the next level in terms of continuous quality enhancements, world-class manufacturing practices, conformance to international standards such as FSSC 22000 V6, ISO 14001:2015, PEFC, and Member of SEDEX, maintaining harmonious workplace relationships, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments,” said Sathis Abeywickrama, Managing Director, Flexiprint (Pvt) Ltd.   

“Winning these awards at a national level is by no means an easy task. They are the result of detailed planning, hard work, and commitment from each and every team member across the company, and the unwavering trust that our customers have placed in us over the years,” he added.

In addition to well-recognized tea manufacturers and exporters in Sri Lanka, Flexiprint’s customer network spans Dubai, Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea, India, Australia, and New Zealand, who are continuously serviced with high-quality products on a timely basis. Their product range includes the highest quality tea bag tags and envelopes, and pyramid mesh tags and tea bag mesh for the tea trade, both locally and globally. Flexiprint also manufactures the highest quality self-adhesive labels, tags, and other labels for the FMCG, pharmaceutical, and apparel industry sectors through its flexi-labels department.
