64th Annual General Meeting of the National Chamber concluded

Under the theme of “Crisis to Recovery” the National Chamber concluded its 64th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 25 January 2023 at Kingsbury Hotel amidst a large gathering of Business Community, Diplomatic Community, Government Officials and well-wishers.

The event was graced by Hon. Jayantha Jayasuriya, PC, Chief Justice of Sri Lanka as the Chief Guest and His Excellency Mizukoshi Hideaki, Ambassador of Japan, in Sri Lanka as the Guest of Honour.

There were three Guest Speakers who made special presentations namely Dr. Roshan Rajadurai, Managing Director, Hayleys Plantations on “Agriculture sector”, Mr. Hiran Cooray, Chairman, Jetwing Symphony PLC on “Tourism sector”, Dr. Lakmal Fernando, MD/CEO, Regen Renewables (Pvt) Ltd on “Power & Energy sector”.

Following new Office Bearers were elected at the AGM; President – Mr. Deepal Nelson,

Senior Deputy President—Mr. Anura Warnakulasooriya, Deputy President—Mr. Kavinda Rajapaksa, Honorary Secretary—Dr. Lakmal Fernando, Honorary Treasurer—Mr. Chamika Godamanna.
