Speaking at the media briefing held today (26) to inform Cabinet decisions and other statements, the Minister noted that despite various claims being made, the government has no intention of bringing any opposition representatives into the ruling party.
He further emphasized that, regardless of the wishes of certain parties, the government has no such intention and that it has received a clear mandate from the public and will act accordingly.
“We have no desire or effort to take anyone from the opposition into the ruling party. There may be wishes, but we have no intention of taking anyone from the opposition into the government. Not only that, we also hope to present the bill to abolish the parliamentary seats of those who change parties against the mandate to Parliament as soon as possible.”
