The Pakistani government officially announced today (1) that it has approved the participation of the national team in the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup, according to Sri Lanka Latest News.
However, it has been stated that the Pakistani team will not take part in the match scheduled to be played against India on the 15th of the tournament.
Pakistan has been placed in Group ‘A’ of the competition, alongside India, Namibia, the Netherlands, and the United States.
