SJB–UNP Talks Continue as Sajith Premadasa Calls Meeting “Very Successful

Another crucial meeting between the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and the United National Party (UNP) was held today in Sri Lanka.

The meeting was attended by the Leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and Opposition Leader, Sajith Premadasa, Party General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara, and UNP General Secretary Thalatha Athukorala. Also present were Ruwan Wijewardene, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Sagala Ratnayake, and Naveen Dissanayake.

Posting a message on X regarding the meeting, Mr. Sajith Premadasa stated that the discussions were very successful and expressed hope that the talks could be taken forward to a victorious conclusion.

Today, the SJB and the UNP held another round of successful discussions, which I am hopeful will result in a victorious conclusion.
