Sri Lanka Cricket has released a statement regarding the ongoing construction of the Jaffna International Cricket Stadium in Mandativu, Jaffna.
The statement confirmed that although construction was temporarily halted due to Cyclone Ditva, work has now resumed as planned.
Sri Lanka Cricket also announced that the minor cyclone caused disruptions to several programs, including the Test match originally scheduled for January 14. Consequently, the match will now be held after the Twenty20 World Cup.
