Former Speaker Ashoka Ranwala has been arrested following a road accident that took place in the Sapugaskanda area. He was receiving treatment at the National Hospital, Sri Lanka Latest News reports.
According to Police Media Spokesperson ASP F. U. Wutler, Ranwala was arrested on charges of dangerous driving and failing to prevent the accident.
