Road Development Authority (RDA) Director General Wimal Kandambi says that numerous roads and bridges across the country have been severely damaged due to floods and landslides triggered by the prevailing bad weather. Sri Lanka Latest News
He stated that 206 roads, including several main roads, have been blocked nationwide.
It has also been reported that 10 bridges have been damaged.
Director General Kandambi further noted that all entry and exit routes to the cities of Nuwara Eliya and Anuradhapura are currently blocked.
