(Sri Lanka Latest News)
In their communication to Sajith Premadasa, the MPs have expressed their intention to contest for the Chief Minister positions in their respective provinces, representing the SJB.
The four MPs have pointed out to the Opposition Leader that they lack the necessary facilities to effectively serve the people of their constituencies while functioning as Members of Parliament. They have further noted that as Provincial Council Chief Ministers, they would be entitled to greater privileges and resources, enabling them to serve the public more efficiently.
It is also reported that the Opposition Leader is prepared to consider the requests made by these four MPs.
