Security forces have recovered 74 T56 magazines, 36 T56 LMG magazines, and several other unidentified magazines including T81 from the Weheragala Reservoir in Kataragama.
In addition, two boxes suspected to contain ammunition and two sacks believed to be weapons were also found at the location.
The recovery was made following an investigation launched based on intelligence information received by the Army.
