Attorney-at-Law Priyantha Weerasuriya, the newly appointed 37th Inspector General of Police (IGP), announced that politicians who have supported the underworld and drug traffickers have already been identified.
He further stated that legal action will be taken against these individuals in the future.
IGP Weerasuriya made these remarks today (14) while officially assuming his duties as the 37th IGP of Sri Lanka.
