Samagi Jana Balawega handed over the nominations to 30 regionals for the Alavwa Cooperative Election today, of which Samagi Jana Balawega has won unopposed in 10 regionals even before the election.
In the meantime, the nomination papers handed over to Pohottu for six relevant regions have been rejected.
However, it is also reported that this election has been postponed with the intervention of the North West Provincial Cooperative Commissioner and the Governor.
Earlier, in the same way, the office election in the Kaduwela cooperative district was also postponed.
So far, Samagi Jana Balawegaya has won most of the cooperative elections in Sri Lanka. It is more than 95%.
