Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced via Twitter that no ceasefire or suspension of military operations has been agreed upon between Iran and Israel.
In his statement, Araghchi emphasized that Iran is open to considering a ceasefire only if Israeli attacks come to a complete halt. Until then, he made it clear that Iranian military operations will persist in response to ongoing aggression.
The Foreign Minister also expressed profound appreciation for the Iranian armed forces, praising their readiness to defend the nation alongside the Iranian people “to the last drop of blood” in the face of any enemy assault.
In contrast, U.S. President Donald Trump shared a conflicting update on his official social media account. According to President Trump, a full ceasefire agreement has been reached between Iran and Israel, set to take effect within the next six hours.
He further stated that the conflict in the Middle East is expected to officially conclude within the next 24 hours.
President Trump concluded his announcement with a message of hope and unity: “God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless America, and God bless the world.”
