Member of Parliament Dayasiri Jayasekara has alleged that Minister Bimal Ratnayake authorized the release of over 300 containers without proper inspection amid the recent congestion at the Colombo Port.
Addressing a press conference yesterday, MP Jayasekara stated that legal action will be pursued through the courts to obtain information regarding the ownership of the released containers.
