A Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force has crashed into the Maduru Oya reservoir.
According to reports, the incident occurred during a demonstration held as part of a dispersal parade. The helicopter was carrying 12 individuals at the time of the crash, including the two pilots.
The Sri Lanka Air Force has confirmed that approximately 10 people have been rescued so far, while efforts continue to ensure the safety of the remaining individuals.
