A group of officials from the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha has lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission, alleging that the Chairman of the Council misused public funds in violation of the Local Government Act. According to the complaint, the funds were allegedly used to promote the “Clean Sri Lanka” program.
