The Cabinet has decided to present the Batalanda Commission report to Parliament.
Speaking at a press conference today (15) to announce Cabinet decisions, Minister Nalinda Jayatissa stated that the report is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament this week.
The Minister further emphasized that the President and the Cabinet gave significant attention to this matter during the Cabinet meeting held yesterday.
Accordingly, further action regarding the report will be taken once it is officially presented to Parliament, he added.
