SJB Member of Parliament Rohana Bandara stated that while grassroots-level party members believe the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and the United National Party (UNP) should unite, such a merger must take place under the leadership of Sajith Premadasa, along with the party’s symbol, the telephone.
He further emphasized that SJB MPs should not engage in undermining the discussions by raising concerns over false mergers.
