Today in Parliament, MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake revealed details about the expenses associated with the inaugural ceremony of the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program.
He stated that a sum of 7 million rupees had been allocated for the ceremony. However, he noted that the cheque for this expenditure has not yet been issued.
According to MP Dassanayake, the delay occurred because the appropriate procedural steps were not followed.
