Cabinet Media Spokesperson, Minister Nalinda Jayatissa, announced that Speaker Ashoka Ranwala will soon address the matter of his doctorate degree.
In response to a question from journalists during the Cabinet media briefing, the Minister noted that a group has recently focused on making allegations against the Speaker.
When asked about the potential actions to be taken if the allegations are proven true, Minister Jayatissa stated that the government will offer its stance on the issue after the Speaker provides his response.
