The New Democratic Front has announced the appointment of former Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and former Minister Ravi Karunanayake as National List Members of Parliament.
The party, which secured three elected MPs in the recent election, has decided to appoint Dinesh Gunawardena as the leader of the parliamentary group, which will comprise a total of five MPs, including the three elected members.
According to party sources, the New Democratic Front is registered under the name of Ravi Karunanayake.
