Harsha de Silva commented that the Central Bank’s practice of printing money does not appear to concern the JVP, which had previously opposed the Central Bank Independence Act.
He noted that the JVP is currently advancing economic policies that surpass even those of Ranil.
De Silva also mentioned that tensions have already emerged between the JVP and its affiliate, the Compass, predicting that the post-general election period will likely bring further clashes.
