Pohottuwa Candidate Prasanna Ranaweera Questions Government’s Security Measures for Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa

Mr. Prasanna Ranaweera, a candidate representing the Gampaha district for the Pohottuwa party, has expressed concerns regarding the current government’s decision to revoke the security detail of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who played a pivotal role in ending the thirty-year civil war.

In light of these developments, Mr. Ranaweera emphasized that should any harm come to Mr. Rajapaksa, the current government must be held accountable for its actions.
