Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amasuriya has directed authorities to issue reminders to former ministers who have yet to vacate their official residences.
If they fail to comply, legal action will be taken.
Additionally, instructions have been given to transfer the official residence previously occupied by former Minister Mahinda Amaraweera to Colombo’s Sirimavo Bandaranaike College.
These directives were issued during a meeting between the Prime Minister and officials from the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government.
