The Colombo High Court has issued an order freezing two bank accounts belonging to former State Minister Anupa Paskuval.
This action is linked to an ongoing investigation by the Bribery Commission.
Today (10), Bribery Commission officials, as part of an investigation under the Anti-Corruption Act, requested the court to freeze the accounts, located in Koggala and Matugama, for a period of three months.
After reviewing the request, the Colombo High Court granted the order, effectively freezing the two bank accounts.
