Mr Champika Ranawaka said that 790 crores of tax money has not been collected from alcohol producers in the last 6 months alone.
The MP also said that although the Parliament’s Committee on Ways and Procedures had notified to ban the liquor licenses of such producers, no instructions have been received from the Ministry of Finance.
