The leader of the Ilankei Tamil Arusu Kachchi Party and the Kilinochchi District Member of Parliament of the Tamil National Alliance S. Sreedharan MP said on the 7th that an armed group of people were travelling on motorcycles at night around Sridharan’s house and the surrounding area. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
The MP also claimed that he has CCTV camera footage of these people covering their faces and heads with clothes, wearing helmets and travelling on motorcycles.
The MP said that there is no point in complaining to the police about this, and after making such a complaint earlier, the MP described how around 200 members of the security forces raided his house at the same time and searched the house.
The MP stated that although he did not declare this to the police, he sent a letter to the Speaker stating that there was a threat to his life and his insecurity.
