Due to this, he requests the people to avoid eating from unhygienic places.
Mr. Deepalperera says that many sick children have been reported from the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Colombo in the past few days. He also mentions that keeping food away from flies, using clean water, and washing hands thoroughly after going to the toilet can prevent the spread of diarrhoea.
He also mentioned that many children who contracted influenza fever were treated and left.
Meanwhile, the doctor also added that there is no risk of bird flu spreading in this country.
