Kassapa Thero Arrested Amid Hunger Strike Protesting Electricity Act | Sri Lanka Latest News

Reverend Balangoda Kassapa Thero was arrested today (06) afternoon by Thalangama Police. Sri Lanka Latest News

He was carrying a protest sign against the proposed electricity bill while on a fast near the parliament.

Thalangama police officers came and arrested him about 10 minutes after starting the fast.
