Residents Block Key Junction in Kandy to Protest Road Conditions; Disperse After Governor Promises Repairs via WhatsApp

Residents protested due to the non-repair of Kivu Lindha Kanda junction road on Haguranketha Parana road in Kandy.Sri Lanka Latest News

They protested by crossing the road near the Kibul Lida Bridge so that the Kandy-Mahiyangana and Kandy-Hanguranketha roads would be blocked.

Later they dispersed according to a letter sent by the Governor through WhatsApp that the roads would be renewed
