During his official visit to the island, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, engaged in discussions with Opposition Leader, Sajith Premadasa the meetings aimed to enhance the ongoing partnership between Sri Lanka and the United States.
Mr Premadasa also appealed to Mr Lowe for assistance in addressing the country’s current financial challenges.
