It has been learned that the concerned youth named Sandaruwan Kumarasinghe, who is a lawyer, came to the airport police around 10 this morning and is already giving a statement.
However, when he came to the police, another group of lawyers were also present at the place.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the Katunayake Police recorded the statements of three officers of the Immigration and Emigration Department who recorded the riots at the airport yesterday evening (05).
