Current leaders of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, the Maithripala Party, as well as the party of Nimal Siripala, who took over the positions of the Srilana Party, participated in the ceremony together and saw that both parties were sitting on opposite sides.
Ministers Nimal Siripala, Mahinda Amaraweera, Vidura Wickramanayake, State Ministers Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Duminda Dissanayake and others were present on this occasion.
