The Hambantota District Conference of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna was held yesterday under the theme “Start the battle Hambantota”.
It was noted former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was present for this after some time.
A large group of party members who had gathered there were seen calling Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa to the stage with shouts of victory.
