Samagi Jana Balawegaya will not come to any agreement to ally with President Ranil Wickremesinghe, said Mr. Rehan Jayawickrama, former president of Weligama town council and organizer of the party. Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Rehan Jayawickrama stated this in a Twitter post in response to a statement made by Tourism Minister Harin Fernando that Sahabaya should unite with UNP.

Mr. Rehan Jayawickrama points out that it is not surprising that the Minister, who said that Sri Lanka is a part of India, thinks that SJB and President Wickremesinghe should ally.

Also, Mr. Jayawickrama has pointed out that Minister Harin Fernando called SJB and its leadership useless on many occasions.

“Why ally with useless people?” Mr. Jayawickrama asked in his Twitter post.

He has stated that SJB will not enter into any agreement with the current President.
