Pujya Pahiangala Ananda Sagala Thero says that even though he has complained to the responsible institutions regarding the clearing of Wilpattu Abaya land as Komarika plantation, the work has not been stopped so far.
Because of this, when they went to Wilpattuwa area to investigate the matter, the thugs attacked two persons and a group of journalists who were traveling in a car, and the owner of Aura Lanka Company, Mr. Viraj Thambugala, said that the attack was carried out.
